In 1868 Patrick Henry Carley opened his Landmark Tavern, a Classic Old New York Tavern. In those days there was no 12th Avenue, just the shores of the Hudson, on which his Tavern sat.

One of the oldest surviving authentic pubs in NYC! ...A real Irish pub with great food. They even have an Irish folk music in the back room on certain nights. Such a cool atmosphere...

Great place to meet friends and enjoy Irish whiskey. We spent almost 4 hours there and enjoyed every minute. The food was fabulous, service was attentive but not too hovering...
